Description
The pear (teardrop) shape has one rounded end and one pointed tip. It works well in drop earrings, pendants and elongated rings.
Choose your stone
- Moissanite: silicon carbide, about 9.25 on the Mohs hardness scale, with strong fire (rainbow flashes).
- Lab-Grown Diamond: carbon crystal grown in a lab, with the same chemical make-up as a mined diamond. 10 on the Mohs scale.
- White Sapphire: colourless corundum, 9 on the Mohs scale, with a softer, more subtle sparkle.
Sold as a loose stone, ready for setting by your jeweller.
